After a wonderful day experimenting with HDR we settled down to watch a spectacular sunset by the sea and then moved to the town center where they had the annual motorbike Charity Event.

Welcome to Gaby and Martin's art-wedding blog. This blog is a visual journalism of one of the most beautiful days of a couple's life - the day they commit to love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives - their wedding day. Thank you for visiting, enjoy viewing the splendid journeys we were honoured to be part of.

About Us
- MGPHOTOGRAPHIC
- Gaby and Martin Cushen worked for 10 years as sports photographers, covering events throughout the UK and Europe. Growing tired of the over commercialism and media restrictions of this form of photography and having been to the annual “Focus of Imaging” exhibition, we had the fortune to attend a “GraphiStudio” seminar, presented by the legendary Joe Buissink which was delivered with so much passion and pleasure, it inspired us to embark on a new field of photography. Using our skills in capturing the moment, we both realised that we can bring so much joy to the wedding couples by encapsulating so many triggers for so many wonderful memories from the happiest day of their lives.

Micro - Nikkor 55mm, f/3.5 Lens test, 5th February 2012
We came across this second-hand little beauty in "Photo Box" camera shop in Kettering. We couldn't resist and we bought it. Here are some of the shots from this wonderful example of one of the sharpest manual lenses ever made.
Brixworth snow, 5th February 2012
It needs no saying how excited we, especially Gaby got, when we woke up on a sunny morning in February to find out the ground covered with that white stuff called SNOW. Than meant only one thing - a long walk to the picturesque Saxon Church in Brixworth. This church is the largest English church which remains substantially as it was in the Anglo-Saxon period.

Burghley House, Stamford, 14th January 2012
On a cold frosty morning we took our cameras and went to Burghley House near Stamford, Lincolnshire. It's a very peaceful place to go to on a crisp cold winter day. The access to the deer can be easy if you are very fast and quiet.

Christmas in Scotland 2011
On the way to our Christmas break with friends in the Scottish Borders we stopped overnight at the excellent De Vere "Whites" hotel in Bolton The first picture shows the view from our window, you only had to open it to step into the seating area.
The following day we continued our journey to our location for the next 4 days over Christmas - the lovely Fleuchlarg Cottage at the Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway on the Scottish Borders.
