About Us

My photo
Gaby and Martin Cushen worked for 10 years as sports photographers, covering events throughout the UK and Europe. Growing tired of the over commercialism and media restrictions of this form of photography and having been to the annual “Focus of Imaging” exhibition, we had the fortune to attend a “GraphiStudio” seminar, presented by the legendary Joe Buissink which was delivered with so much passion and pleasure, it inspired us to embark on a new field of photography. Using our skills in capturing the moment, we both realised that we can bring so much joy to the wedding couples by encapsulating so many triggers for so many wonderful memories from the happiest day of their lives.

Karen and and Shonny Nagy, Guildhall, Northampton, 25th June 2011

Finally the big day was here – not only for the bride and groom, but also for us – our first real wedding shoot! We were honored to be allowed to photograph Karen and Shonny’s happy day at the Guildhallhall in Northampton on the 25th June 2011.

Wedding Photography Workshop, Lacock, Wiltshire, 11th-12th June 2011

We had the chance to shoot our first practice real wedding on June, 25th so we thought we could benefit from attending a 2-day photographic workshop in lovely Lacock, Wiltshire, hosted by Terry Hewlett. Having learnt the art of strobist flash techniques we are proud to share the results with you.

Brixworth Oil Seed Rape Fields

Having been inspired by the beautiful results from our first “Trash the dress” session in Hunstanton, we thought that we can try something similar with the oil seed rape fields in our village of Brixworth in Northamptonshire.

Hunstandon Trash the Dress

We bought this wedding dress from a charity shop and back in June we went to picturesque Hunstanton for some "Trash the dress" shots. We got some very good effects.
